Bulk Kratom in Canada: Prices, Kilo Packs and Storage
Buying kratom in bulk is the simplest way to pay less per gram, but bigger is not always better. This guide uses real Canadian prices to show where the savings are, when a kilo makes sense and when it does not, and how to store a large supply so it stays fresh.
What counts as “bulk” kratom?
Most Canadian sellers treat anything from 250 g up as bulk, with 500 g and 1 kg bags as the usual bulk sizes. Some also sell multi-kilo packs. The main reasons people buy bulk are:
- a lower price per gram
- fewer orders and less waiting on deliveries
- reaching the free-shipping minimum in a single item
How much you actually save
Here is how the price per gram changes with bag size at Kratom Earth. Prices are as of November 2026, and a few strains are priced differently.
| Bag size | Most regular strains | Price per gram | Super (leaf-only) strains | Price per gram |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25 g | $8.99 | 36¢ | $9.99 | 40¢ |
| 50 g | $17.99 | 36¢ | $17.99 | 36¢ |
| 100 g | $29.99 | 30¢ | $36.49 | 36¢ |
| 250 g | $59.99 | 24¢ | $64.99 | 26¢ |
| 500 g | $99.99 | 20¢ | $109.99 | 22¢ |
| 1 kg | $199.99 | 20¢ | $199.99 | 20¢ |
Three things stand out:
- The biggest drop is from small bags to 250 g. Moving from 25 g bags to a 250 g bag cuts the price per gram by about a third.
- For regular strains, 500 g and 1 kg cost the same per gram. A kilo saves you a reorder, not money. Two 500 g bags of different strains cost the same as one kilo of a single strain.
- For Super strains, the kilo is the cheapest per gram, because the 1 kg bag is priced the same as a regular kilo.
Mix-and-match bulk packs
If you use more than one strain, a mixed pack gets you bulk pricing without committing to a single strain:
| Pack | What you get | Price | Price per gram |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mixed Half Kilos | 2 x 250 g, strains you choose | $104.99 | 21¢ |
| Mixed Kilos | 4 x 250 g, strains you choose | $199.99 | 20¢ |
| Super Mixed Kilos | 4 x 250 g of Super strains | $209.99 | 21¢ |
| Two Mixed Kilos | 4 x 500 g, strains you choose | $379.99 | 19¢ |
Mixed Kilos costs the same as a single-strain kilo, and about $40 less than buying four 250 g bags separately. Two Mixed Kilos is the lowest price per gram we offer.
When bulk makes sense, and when it doesn’t
Buy bulk when
- you have already tried the strain and know you like it
- you go through a regular amount and can finish the supply within a few months
- you can store it properly (see below)
Don’t buy bulk when
- the strain is new to you. A kilo of something you don’t enjoy is the most expensive mistake in kratom. Try it first in a 25 g bag or a 5 x 25 g sample pack, or compare several at once with the 4 x 100 g sample pack.
- you only need a little. Powder slowly loses freshness once a bag is opened, so a supply that sits for a year is not a bargain.
- the low price comes with no lab report. A cheap kilo with no third-party testing gives you no way to know what you are getting.
Free shipping and bulk orders
Orders over $129 ship free anywhere in Canada. A single 1 kg bag or any kilo pack clears that on its own. A 500 g bag ($99.99) or Mixed Half Kilos ($104.99) does not, so add a sample pack or a second bag if you want free shipping. Details are on our shipping policy page.
Buying from a Canadian supplier also means your order ships within the country and does not go through customs. Large international orders can be refused or seized at the border. Our guide to US kratom vendors that ship to Canada explains why tempting foreign kilo prices often aren’t worth the risk.
How to store bulk kratom
- Split it up. Divide a large bag into several smaller airtight containers. Open one at a time and leave the rest sealed.
- Keep it cool, dry and dark. Heat, humidity and light are what wear kratom powder down. A cupboard away from the stove works well.
- Be careful with the fridge or freezer. Cold storage can cause condensation every time a container comes out. If you use it, store the powder in small, fully sealed portions and let each one reach room temperature before opening it.
- Label each container with the strain and the date you opened it.

Bulk kratom and the rules in Canada
Buying kratom for your own supply is not a criminal offence, because kratom is not listed in the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. Health Canada’s rules apply to sellers: no kratom product is authorized for sale as a food, drug or natural health product. If you are thinking of reselling, those rules apply to you too. Our page on kratom’s legal status in Canada has the details and sources.
Frequently asked questions
Is buying a kilo of kratom cheaper?
Compared with small bags, yes. For most regular strains, though, a 500 g bag and a 1 kg bag cost the same per gram, about 20 cents. The kilo mainly saves you a reorder.
Can I split a kilo across several strains?
Yes. Mixed Kilos gives you four 250 g bags of strains you choose for the same price as a single-strain kilo.
How long does bulk kratom stay fresh?
Stored sealed in a cool, dry, dark place, powder keeps well for months. Freshness fades faster once a bag is opened, so split large bags into smaller containers.
What is the cheapest way to buy kratom in Canada?
At Kratom Earth, the lowest price per gram is Two Mixed Kilos (4 x 500 g) at about 19 cents a gram. Only buy that much once you know which strains you like.
Kratom is sold in Canada as a botanical product for research purposes. Health Canada has not approved it to treat any condition and warns that it can cause dependence.
You can buy kratom online in Canada from Kratom Earth: lab-tested powder and capsules, shipped from British Columbia.
